Quido Homes have a floor plan designed to meet an average family's needs that require comfort and a flexible floor plan. The hummingbird model is a plan that is priced affordably for a three-bedroom or two-bedroom home. One of the few attributes the design incorporates is a covered parking space reducing the cost and the need to build another structure to protect vehicles providing significant cost savings for the entire project. Unlike our competition, many other similar homes do not include a parking structure, thus increasing the price as a hidden cost. The plan also includes a covered patio keeping the owners protected from the weather, especially in areas where the climate can limit the use of outdoor entertainment; the hummingbird model provides outdoor shelter all year around. The covered patio is great for BBQs, parties, gatherings al fresco, and a place to enjoy the outdoors. Another advantage of the Hummingbird model is the reverse floor plan. In areas where floods are high risk, the design keeps all of the main functional spaces like the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and master bedroom above flood levels, minimizing impacts on the structure.
The environment is a concern to many of us, and we want to help reduce any impacts on our mother earth. It is essential and beneficial to all of us to find small details that help our environment. The Hummingbird's small footprint maintains more open space to allow vegetation and rainwater to run its natural course. Having a small footprint of 56’-3" long by 25’-2" wide, the Hummingbird model not only maintains more open space it should also fit most urban and rural lots without sacrificing functionality. We designed the house with the flexibility to fit most parcels, so no matter what plot of land you have or can purchase, this home will most likely fit your lot. Another environmental benefit Quido homes provide is reducing the carbon footprint by building the home off-site in a factory. This method of construction helps reduce waste, noise, and pollution. There are many more benefits to building off-site, so find out more in our brochures. Lastly, we have options. Learn more about them in our brochure and literature! |
